Foreign tourist arrivals in the country in January, 06 have registered an increase of 15.1%. Total arrival during the month was 444753 while in last January, it was 386260. Foreign exchange earnings, in rupees term, also recorded the growth of 17.0% in January, 2006 and it was 11.6% during 2004-05.
