The Ministry of Rural Development has sanctioned Rs. 39.28 lakh to the State Government of Tripura as extended first instalment for undertaking IEC and HRD activities relating to National Rural Drinking Water Quality Monitoring and Surveiliance Programme during the year 2006-07. Out of these, an amount of Rs.10.70 lakh for IEC activities and remaining Rs.28.58 lakh for HRD activities as per the guidelines under Rajiv Gandhi National Drinking Water Mission (RGNDWM).
The funds for undertaking these activities are to be transferred to Community & Capacity Development Unit established in the State.
This release is for plan expenditure. The fund are to be utilized for the purpose for which it is released and as per the terms and conditions. The release is on the basis of norms for each activity as per the guidelines.
