Change in time table of Railways

As announced in the Railway Budget 2006-2007, Indian Railways have initiated action to review the All India Time Table de-novo. In the first phase of the exercise, 140 trains have been made super fast. These timings have been reflected in the July-November, 2006 edition of time table. Second phase of the exercise, for further reviewing the Time Table, is still on and the results will be reflected in the Time Table to the released in December, 2006.

This information was given by Shri R.Velu, Minister of State for Railways in a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha today.
