A group of 02 teachers and 30 children from border region of Akhnoor (J&K) are in the capital on a conducted educational tour. The children interacted with Vice Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen BS Thakur at his residence today. The children shared their experience of the tour and were delighted to be in capital.
VCOAS encouraged them to work towards the betterment of their state and the country.
It may be recalled that Army has undertaken a number of educational tours for the children of J&K under Operation Sadbhavna.
