Civil Services Examination, 2005 – 32 more candidates recommended by UPSC

The Union Public Service Commission has recommended 32 more candidates to fill up the remaining posts based on Civil Services Examination, 2005. These candidates will be communicated by the Department of Personnel and Training directly.

The result of the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2005 was declared on 8th May, 2006/6th June, 2006 recommending 425 candidates in order of merit for appointment to IAS, IFS, IPS and Central Services Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ on the basis of the results of Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2005 against 457 vacancies. The Commission had, in accordance with the Civil Services Examination Rules, 2005, maintained a consolidated Reserve List of 64 candidates ranking in order of merit below the last recommended candidate under respective category.
