Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) has bagged two contracts from Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation (APGENCO) for setting up of Vijayawada Thermal Power Station Extension and Bhoopalapally Thermal Power Station. The total value of the power plants of 500 MW each is Rs.2120 crores.
The schedule for commissioning of the above two projects is as under:
