The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) has categorically denied allegations made in a TV channel interview by Shri Jagat Singh about the manner in which the investigations have been conducted into the Volcker Committee’s report on the Oil-For-Food Programme.
Normally, the Directorate of Enforcement does not respond to such media reports. However, in this case, since the allegations have been made earlier and repeated again, denying the allegations, the Directorate of Enforcement has categorically stated that all investigations in this matter have been conducted strictly in accordance with the law, uninfluenced by any person or any extraneous factors.
