Flats for middle class

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has informed that the policy of constructing houses in Delhi for middle class people has not been discontinued. This was stated by the Minister of State for Urban Development, Shri Ajay Maken in Lok Sabha today. In a written reply, he said that in the recently launched ‘DDA Housing Scheme 2006’, 2352 two bed room houses have been offered for allotment for middle class people. In addition, 1343 Middle Income Group and 6852 Lower Income Group houses are under construction by the DDA as on date.
