The Union Cabinet today gave its approval for introduction of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Bill 2006 in Parliament.
The proposed Bill will provide effective care and protection to the senior citizens and will provide speedy and inexpensive legal framework to grant maintenance to them.
