The total value of mineral production covering metalliferrous and industrial minerals but excluding fuel, atomic and minor minerals in August 2005 is estimated at Rs.882 crore as against Rs.675 crore for August 2004. The value of these minerals produced in July this year was Rs.1,096 crore.
