Seven day state mourning announced as a mark of respect to Shri V.P. Singh

Government has announced Seven days state mourning throughout India from today as a mark of respect to the former Prime Minister Shri V.P. Singh who passed away today. During this period the National Flag will fly half mast on all buildings where it is flown regularly and there will be no official entertainment. It has also been decided to accord State funeral to the departed leader. The funeral will take place at Sangam in Allahabad Utter Pradesh on the 29th of this month.
