The Vice-President of India Mohd. Hamid Ansari has greeted the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, which marks the birth of Bhagwan Mahavir.
In his message, the Vice President said that Bhagwan Mahavir’s life and teachings are a beacon of light to guide the mankind on the path of humanism, non-violence and universal love. His teachings have the power to transform the society and free mankind from the shackles of ignorance, violence and moral decay.
On this occasion, let us imbibe the enlightened teachings of Bhagwan Mahavir to usher in peaceful and harmonious society, he said.
