As per information provided by Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association (IWTMA), a total wind power capacity of 711 MW has already been installed in the country by PSUs.
The local population in the area of project site is involved in terms of providing land for installation of the project.Local population also get employment in various activities related with the projects.
