(a) whether a large number of students belonging to the minority communities in various States including Kerala were denied Merit-cum Means Scholarships for the academic year 2014-15;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor;
(c) whether the Government has received any representation regarding the aforesaid matter; and
(d) if so, the details thereof and the response of the Government thereto along with the steps taken by the Government to ensure that scholarship schemes are implemented effectively?
