(a) whether any target was fixed for setting up new telephone exchanges in the country for the year 2004-2005;
(b) if so, the details thereof, state-wise;
(c) whether the target has been achieved;
(d) if not, the reasons therefor; and
(e) the steps taken by the Government in this regard?
