(a) the details of the Central Rural Sanitation Programmes under taken for the state of
Punjab during this year;
(b) the projects taken up in the state during each of the last three years and the
achievements made thereunder, project-wise and district-wise; and
(c) the details of people`s participation in the CRSP in the State?

(a) to (c) During this year, under the Central Rural Sanitation Programme, two projects in
Sangrur and Patiala districts have been sanctioned in Punjab. The total outlay of the
projects is Rs.11.68 crore out of which GOI share Rs. 5.27 crore, State Government share
is Rs.3.27 crore and community share is Rs. 3.13 crore. Rs.52.67 lakh has been released
to these two project districts this year as 10% of the first instalment.
During the last three years, TSC project in Bhatinda, Muktsar and Moga districts
also were sanctioned. The Financial and Physical progress of each project including
people`s contribution is enclosed.
