(a) whether the Government has approved development of airports at Bhogapuram, Kuppam, Tadepalligudem, Dugadurti and Orvakallu in Andhra Pradesh;
(b) if so, the details and the present status thereof;
(c) whether detailed project reports of these airports have been received by the Government;
(d) if so, the details thereof and if not, the time by which they are likely to be received by the Government; and
(e) whether flight operations from Kadapa have started and if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b): No, Madam. However, Government of India has received proposals for setting up of a new Greenfield Airport at Dagadarthi
Mendal Nellore District, Bhogapuram in Vizianagaram District near Visakhapatnam, Tadepalligudem in West Godavari District, Oravakallu
in Kurnool District and Kuppam in Chittoor District.
(c) & (d): No, Madam. As per Greenfield Airport Policy, 2008, the Detailed Project Report (DPR) is submitted by the project developer at
''in-principle'' approval stage.
(e): Yes, Madam. Air Pegasus has started operations on Bengaluru -Kadapa - Bengaluru route from 07.06.2015 with a frequency of three
flights/week.
