(a) whether the machinery for the transportation of C.C.T. coal in the Kargali Washery under Kargali and Bokaro areas of Central Coalfields Limited is not being used;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor;
(c) whether the government propose to reuse the machinery; and
(d) if so, by when and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a): Cross country conveyor transport (CCCT) of Kargali washery is not in use at present.
(b): CCCT at Kargali washery was transporting coking coal from Bokaro O.C. and U.G. mines for the Kargali washery but with the conversion of Kargali washery from coking coal washery to a non-coking coal washery w.e.f. 1.6.1999, the need for running of this system is now not there.
(c)&(d): Conveyor structure & other parts of CCT are in the process of dismantling and shall be used at suitable places in the company as and when required.
