Question : DISINVESTMENT IN AIR INDIA AND INDIAN AIRLINES



(a) whether the reserve price for the disinvestment of Air India and Indian Airlines has been fixed by the Government;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether the Government have received poor response to technical bids for AI and IA;

(d) if so, whether the Government have decided to issue fresh tenders of AI and IA;

(e) if so, whether the fresh tenders required a change in ground rules;

(f) if so, whether it would send wrong signals to the foreign investors; and
g) if so, the reaction of the Government thereto?
