(a) & (b): Madam, The Government of India has proposed certain amendments in Child Labour (Prohibition & Regulation)
Act, 1986 which are in line with Ratification of ILO Convention No. 138 and 182. The Cabinet has approved the proposed
amendments and the process of ratification will be considered after the amendment of Child Labour (Prohibition & Regulation)
Act, 1986.
