Answer given by the minister

MINISTER OF STATE (IC) FOR LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT
(SHRI BANDARU DATTATREYA)

(a) to (b): The Government is implementing the National Career Service (NCS) Project for transformation of the National Employment Service to provide a variety of employment related services like job matching, career counselling, vocational guidance, information on skill development courses, etc. A national portal has been developed for providing online registration of candidates and posting of employment opportunities nationwide. Consideration of a candidate for employment in another state is dependent on the requirement of the employer. The NCS is supported by Call Centre/Helpdesk. The services under NCS are accessible from multiple delivery channels like NCS Portal, Employment Exchanges (Career Centres), Common Service Centre etc. NCS also includes Interlinking of Employment Exchanges through NCS portal.
