Question : Monitoring of Projects in Chhattisgarh

(a) whether the Government is keeping vigil over the various running central projects in Chhattisgarh;
(b) the time by which the aforementioned projectsare likely to be completed;
(c) the details of new projects proposed to be started in Chhattisgarh during the last three years; and
(d) the amount proposed to be allocated to each such project?

(a)& (b): Government through the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation monitors on-going central sector infrastructure projects costing Rs. 150 crore and above on time and cost overruns through its online computerized monitoring system (OCMS) on the basis ofinformation provided by the project implementation agencies. As on 01.04.2017, 42on-going central sectorprojects costing Rs. 150 crore and abovewere in the state of Chhattisgarh. Details of project-wiseanticipated date of completion as provided by the respective project implementing agencyis at Annexure-I.
(c)& (d): Details of new central sector projects costing Rs 150 crore and above which were approved during the last three years along with the anticipated cost as reported by the project implementing agencies is at Annexure–II.
