(a) The details of complaints regarding misuse of the Member of Parliament Local Area
Development Scheme (MPLADS) funds during the last two years and the current year are at
Annexure.
(b) The Ministry has directed the concerned State/District Authorities, inter alia to adhere
to the MPLADS guidelines while sanctioning/execution of works, take action to vacate the
encroachments in MPLADS assets, take appropriate action against the concerned officers and
recoup MPLADS funds where the ineligible works under the scheme have been executed.
