Question : RESERVATION FOR WOMEN SPORTSPERSONS

(a) whether women sportspersons are not getting the benefits of reservation in educational institutions as opposed to men under sports category;

(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor; and

(c) the measures taken/proposed to be taken by the Government to ensure that women sportspersons get the benefits of reservation under sports category?

(a) No, Madam. Reservation in educational Institutions under sports category is equally applicable to women sportspersons.

(b)&(c): In view of reply to part (a) above, question does not arise.
