Question : 20th Livestock Census

(a) whether it is true that the Government has released the key results of the 20th livestock census;
(b) whether it is true that cattle population has increased in the country since the previous census; and
(c) if so, the details thereof?

(a): Yes, the Government has released the key results of the 20th Livestock Census in the publication titled “20th Livestock Census-2019 All India Report”.
(b): Yes, the total cattle population in the country has increased of 1.3% since the previous census i.e., 19th Livestock Census.
(c): The details of cattle population of 20th and 19th Livestock Census is given in the following table
