Question : REHABILITATION OF WORKERS OF CLOSED JUTE MILLS

(a) whether some jute mills have been closed down in Orissa; (

(b) if so, the details thereof, location-wise;

(c) the reasons for the closure of these jute mills;

(d) the number of workers affected due to the closure of these jute mills; and

(e) the steps taken to rehabilitate the workers of these mills ?

(a): Only a single Jute Mill is situated in Orissa which is a State sector Jute Mill. The mill is not closed down.
