(a) & (b): Under this Ministry, two Small Industries Service Institutes (SISIs) (at Bangalore and Hubly) and two branch SISIs (at Mangalore and Gulbarga) in the State of Karnataka are functioning under the administrative control of the Office of the Development Commissioner (Small Scale Industries). A Branch Office of the National Small Industries Corporation Limited (NSIC), is functioning at Bangalore. In addition, the Central Institute of Coir Technology is also functioning at Bangalore.
