(a) whether certain public private partnership projects have drawn several bids on Built, Operate & Transfer (BOT) Toll Mode;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government proposes to award certain projects completed on engineering, procurement and construction mode; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (d) Conscious steps have been taken by the Government to encourage private developers to develop national highways in the country. As a result, participation of the Private Sector in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects has started showing signs of recovery. This revival trend is expected to continue and gain momentum with time. Award of national highway projects completed on Engineering, Procurement Construction (EPC) mode for Operation-Maintenance-Transfer (OMT) is a continuous process and are awarded as per feasibility and requirement per-se.
