(a) the total number of functioning post offices and speed post counters and the total number of post offices and speed post counters proposed to be opened in the country, State-wise including Chhattisgarh;
(b) the details of target set and achieved for setting up new post offices and sub-post offices in the country during the last three years and the current year, State-wise;
(c) whether the Government proposes to upgrade the present post offices by increasing their status from post office to sub-post office, sub-post office to main post office and main post office to general post office;
(d) if so, the details thereof, State-wise including Chhattisgarh; and
(e) whether the Government has received proposals from the State Governments to increase the status of post offices and new post offices in the newly created districts in the country and if so, the details thereof ?
