Question : Financial Assistance to Khadi Industry in Kerala

(a) whether the Government has any plan to give financial assistance/ packages for development of Payyannoor Khadi in Kasaragod in Kerala and if so, the details thereof;

(b) whether the Government has received any representation/request in this regard and if so, the details thereof; and

(c) the estimated cost for the same and the time by which it is likely to be done?

(a): No Sir. So far, no proposal has been received by Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) for the development of Payyannoor Khadi in Kasaragod, Kerala.
