Question : SACHAR COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS

(a) whether there is any time frame for implementation of Sachar Committee recommendations;

(b) if not, the reasons therefor;

(c) whether the Government is considering to fix any time frame; and

(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) and (c): No, Madam.

(b) and (d): Different Ministries/Departments in the Central Government are implementing the decisions of the Government on the follow up action on the recommendations of the Sachar Committee and the status of implementation is reviewed regularly on quarterly basis. The status is annexed.
