(a) the number of Integrated Tribal Development Agencies districts in the country;
(b) the break up of ITDA districts in the country; State-wise;
(c) whether there is any plan to increase the number of such districts; and
(d) if so, the details of such plans and the criteria adopted in this regard?
THE MINISTER OF TRIBAL AFFAIRS (SHRI JUAL ORAM):
(a) 194 Integrated Tribal Development Projects (ITDPs)/lntegrated Tribal Development
Agencies (ITDAs) are functioning in 23 States/UTs in the country. 21 ITDAs in Orissa
and 8 ITDAs in Andhra Pradesh have been set up by registering them under Society Registration
Act.
