(a) whether the State Tourism Ministers Conference was held in Delhi in the recent past;
(b) if so, the details of discussions held and the outcome thereof;
(c) whether certain State Governments have opposed, several proposals of the union Government; and
(d) if so, the details thereof and the reaction of the Government thereto?

(a) and (b) : State Tourism Ministers Conference was held on 5th September, 2002 in Delhi to discuss various issues relating to policy initiatives for infrastructure development, promotion and marketing and implementation of the National Tourism Policy-2002.
(c) and (d): Eight States have not supported the proposal suggesting inclusion of Tourism in the Concurrent List of the Constitution.
