Question : NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA IN BIHAR



(a) whether the Government propose to construct a building for the Navodaya Vidyalaya in Garhwa district of Bihar.

(b) if so, the total acres of land required for the purpose;

(c) whether the Government of Bihar has already acquired 25 acres of land and is in the process of acquiring another 10 acres of land;

(d) if so, the reasons for not starting the construction work as yet; and

(e) the time by which the work is likely to be started?

(a) Yes, Sir.

(b) to (e): The Govt. of Bihar has offered 34.31 acres of land at village Annaraj Nawadih, for the permanent establishment of JNV at Distt. Garhwa. The proposed land has not so far been transferred to the Samiti. The commencement of construction work of JNV building, would be considered after the transfer of land to the Samiti by the State Govt. and subject to availability of funds.
