Question : OUTDATED DRUGS IN DANAPUR RAILWAY HOSPITAL



(a) whether during stock verification, life saving drugs pertaining to the pre-independence period, having totally lost its virtual potency, have been recovered from the Danapur Railway Hospital recently;

(b) if so, the details thereof indicating the purpose for which these outdated drugs have been still kept in the stock;

(c) whether any of these drugs have been administered to the patients admitted in the said hospital;

(d) if so, the results of the outdated drug administration;

(e) whether any enquiry has been conducted to ascertain the real cause for keeping such expired drugs in the stock of the hospital; and

(f) if so, the outcome thereof and the action taken thereon?
