(a) The details of proposals received from various State Governments under the Integrated Low Cost Sanitation (ILCS) Scheme and the number of proposals approved out of them, alongwith the funds allocated and released thereunder during each of the last three years and the current year, State-wise; and

(b) the details of projects completed and the number of ILCS units actually built alongwith the utilization of funds under the scheme during the said period, State-wise?

(a): The Integrated Low Cost Sanitation Scheme (ILCS) has been revised in January, 2008 and proposals have been received for sanction under the revised guidelines from the State of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh,Haryana, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Jammu & Kashmir, West Bengal, Kerala, Nagaland, Nagaland, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Tripura, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Odisha under the scheme. The details of proposals received and sanctioned under the Integrated Low Cost Sanitation (ILCS) Scheme from various State Governments and the funds released thereunder during the last three years i.e. 2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11 and current year i.e. 2011-12 State -wise is at Annexure –I.

(b): Details of project completed and the number of units built alongwith the utilization of funds under the scheme during the said period, State- wise is at Annexure –II.
