(a) the number of educated unemployed persons to whom loan was provided under Prime Minister Rojgar Yojana in Orissa during the last three years;
(b) the target set for this financial year and the reasons for not achieving the target; and
(c) the number of educated unemployed persons to whom loan is proposed to be provided under Prime Minister Rojgar Yojana during 2000-2001?

(a): As per the report received from the Reserve Bank of India loans were disbursed to 8378 educated unemployed persons in Orissa for 1997-98, 1998-99 and 1999-2000 under the Prime Minister`s Rozgar Yojana.
(b)&(c): Orissa has been allocated a target of 15,500 for the year 2000-2001 under the Pirme Minister`s Rozgar Yojana, which is to be achieved by the end of the current financial year.
