(a): Ministry of Environment & Forests, National River
Conservation Directorate (NRCD) has informed that a Plan for
setting up 2 Sewage Treatment Plants, 106 mld at Pinara and 126
mld at Vasna in Ahmedabad city for abatement of pollution of
river Sabermati under National River Conservation Plan has been
received from Government of Gujarat in June, 2000.
(b)&(c): The proposal submitted by Government of Gujarat is
under examination in the NRCD.
