Question : SUGAR TRADE BY PUBLIC SECTOR TRADE BODIES

(

(a) whether the Government have a proposal to allow some public sector trade bodies to trade in sugar without giving the bank guarantee; (

(b) if so, the public sector undertakings selected for this purpose; (

(c) whether the exemption of bank guarantee to these selected public sector undertakings are against the rules framed by APEDA; and (

(d) if so, the reaction of the Government thereto?

( a ) : All exporters including private and public sector undertakings can export sugar without giving bank guarantee.
