(a) the names of the State which have got the best State Award for the achievement in the field of renewable energy;
(b) the reasons of lesser interest of investors in other States;
(c) whether the Government has issued/ proposes to issue directions to the State Governments for giving approval to the renewable energy projects under "Single Window" system at the earliest; and
(d) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor and the time by which it is likely to be done?

(a): Based on the renewable power capacity addition during the period from 1st April 2010 to 31st March 2014 the States of Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Chhattisgarh were awarded in the first Renewable Energy Global Investors Meet & Expo, RE-INVEST 2015.
(b): The renewable power potential is not uniform across the States.
(c)&(d): No Madam, the States are free to adopt "Single Window" system for promotion of renewable energy in the State.
