(a) whether Government have received any proposals from State Governments for providing financial assistance to KVIC;

THE MINISTER OF STATE (INDEPENDENT CHARGE) IN THE MINISTRY OF SMALL SCALE INDUSTRIES, AGRO AND RURAL INDUSTRIES, MINISTER OF STATE IN THE DEPARTMENT OF PERSONNEL AND TRAINING, DEPARTMENT OF PENSIONS AND PENSIONERS WELFARE OF THE MINISTRY OF PERSONNEL, PUBLIC GRIEVANCES AND PENSIONS AND MINISTER OF STATE IN THE DEPARTMENTS OF ATOMIC ENERGY AND SPACE (SHRIMATI VASUNDHARA RAJE)

(a) to (c): Funds for the Plan and Non-Plan activities of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) are provided by the Central Government. These funds are provided in the form of grants and loans and the Commission re-allocates them to its implementing agencies, namely State KVI Boards, Cooperative Societies, Nationalized Banks etc. The State Governments do not send proposals for providing financial assistance to the KVIC.
