(d) whether the State Government of Andhra Pradesh has not yet taken any
final decision on the use of high-resolution imageries for its cyclone
hazard mitigation project;
(e) if so, the whether the State Government had planned to obtain the
imageries from the US based company`s Ikonos satellite by February 2000;
(f) whether the World Bank had given a loan of Rs. 50 crore for this project;
(g) whether the State Government of Andhra Pradesh has informed the World
Bank that due to delay in the Centre announcing a policy on acquisition and
distribution of foreign satellite imagery, the project has been held up;
(h) if so, the other reasons for delay in implementing the project; and
(i) whether the project has been abandoned or is still under considration?
