(a) whether the Government has any scheme/programme for creating/spreading awareness about Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme through the Nehru Yuva Kendras in the country;
(b) if so, the details thereof, State/UT-wise including Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh during the last three years;
(c) the details of funds sanctioned/released and utilized in this regard during the said period, State/UT-wise; and
(d) the achievements made as a result thereof?

(a) &(b) No, Madam. An amount of Rs. 12.60 crore was sanctioned by the Ministry of Rural Development during the year 2010-11 for the implementation of project namely Capacity Building and Awareness of workers under MGNREGA through Nehru Yuva Kendra in selected 10 states i.e Punjab, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Chhatisgarh.
(c ) The details of amount disbursed and utilized during the year 2010-11 to 2012-13 are given in Annexure - I.
(d) Details of Achievements are given in Annexure – II.
