(a) whether the Government proposes to modify the definition of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME);
(b) if so, the details thereof including the proposal to cover the service sector under the MSME sector; and

(a)to (c): The revision of definition of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), including that of service enterprises, is under consideration of the Government. In this regard, the Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises has already introduced the bill, "The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Amendment) Bill, 2015", in Lok Sabha in the current session of Parliament.
