Question : National Programme for Dairy Development

(a) whether the Government proposes sanctioning grants for establishing enhanced milk chilling facility, milk processing & marketing, bench mark survey, planning and monitoring cost under the National Programme for Dairy Development (NPDD) scheme;
(b) if so, the number of project proposals received and sanctioned so far, State-wise;
(c) the progress achieved in this regard till date;
(d) the amount of funds released under the National Programme for Dairy Development (NPDD) to Jharkhand, district-wise;
(e) whether there is any pending amount that has not been released yet; and
(f) if so, the details thereof, district-wise?

(a) Yes Sir.
(b) & (c) Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying has received 156 proposals from various State Governments under National Programme for Diary Development (NPDD). As on 03.12.2019, this Department has approved 129 new projects in 28 States and 2 UTs with total outlay of Rs.1535.17 crore (Central Assistance Rs.1249.36 crore) during 2014-15 to 2019-20. A statement of indicating details of project received and sanctioned under NPDD scheme during 2014-15 to 2019-20 is Annexed.
(d) Two projects have been approved under NPDD scheme in Jharkhand. The details are as under:-
